What is the scholarship program?

A prestigious scholarship, our Houston Hoedown Court is comprised of talented and well-rounded students who are recipients of funds to assist with college courses and the supplies that go with them. However, being part of the Court is so much more.

What does it mean to be on the Hoedown Court? 

In addition to the funds for college, you'll also be an ambassador for Houston, representing our community while you host visiting courts and attend local events and area parades. You'll also help support the Little Miss Party and show the younger Little Miss Hoedown candidates what it means to be involved with Hoedown and community of Houston.

When is the coronation?

Our annual coronation for Queen and Little Miss typically falls the weekend prior to Hoedown.

Is there anything else I should know? 

Say cheese! Not only do you get to wear a crown, but dozens of people will want to take pictures with you! You'll spend Hoedown Days with the Court representing Houston already, and yes, parents and guardians of Court members are typically involved in events as well.
